JIPSI TREE began in 2014 with a simple vision: to create natural handmade clothing that you can feel good about wearing. Designed and handmade by founder JoAnne McElroy, each piece is a celebration of nature, and the beauty of simplicity.

The name JIPSI TREE reflects the heart of the brand: JIPSI for the free spirit, the independent soul who moves to her own rhythm; and TREE for the deep connection to the earth, the love of rootedness, growth, and living gently on the land. Together, they speak to a lifestyle that values presence over perfection, craftsmanship over trend, and nature over excess.

Each garment is made slowly and intentionally from pure, breathable fabrics: hemp, linen, cotton (organic when available), and bamboo. Chosen for their comfort, beauty, and lower environmental impact, these natural fibers soften with time, adapting to your body and becoming more personal with every wear.
